Can I get tennis elbow without having played tennis?   >>back to top
Most people who get tennis elbow (pain on the outside of the elbow) have never played tennis in their life! Tennis elbow is caused by excessive pull of the muscles on their attachment to the elbow bone. This causes inflammation on the bone and just lifting a cup or even paper is painful! Treatment aims to take decrease inflammation by taking pressure off of the bone by releasing the muscles and correcting faulty biomechanics in the body

What is the difference between golfers elbow and tennis elbow?   >>back to top
A golfer's elbow is opposite to a tennis elbow (see question on tennis elbox). Where the pain with a tennis elbow is on the outside of the elbow, the pain with a golfer's elbow is on the inside. This is caused by the overuse of the muscles that bend the wrist inwards like with bicep curls (opposite to tennis elbow which is caused by overuse of the muscles that bend the wrist backwards like with typing on a computer). Similarly, this causes inflammation on the bone where the muscles attach.
